Bev Aisbett

Bev Aisbett is an Australian author, cartoonist, illustrator, artist and trained counsellor who has experienced the horror of depression, anxiety and panic attacks herself.

 

Bev lives in Melbourne and has been a freelance cartoonist and illustrator for many years.  Her work has appeared in the major press and numerous community, corporate publications and she has illustrated for Australia's leading publishing houses.  
 

She has published a number of books, most notably 'Living with It – A Survivor's Guide to Panic Attacks' and 'Taming the Black Dog – A Guide to Overcoming Depression'.
 

All of Bev's books are written for fellow sufferers of depression and anxiety, in a unique simple cartoon format that makes them very easy reading while providing extremely helpful suggestions, tools and techniques that we can implement and use in our quest to manage our illness.
 

Bev is also a trained counsellor and has been a facilitator of the ‘Working with IT’ anxiety recovery workshops since 1998 and creator of the ‘IT Kit’ home study program.
